  • Walp Therapy Services provides individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, with durations ranging from 50 to 80 minutes.

    Everything is tailored to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

  • At Walp Therapy Services, all therapy sessions are conducted online using a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.

    Telehealth allows you to attend sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own space, making it easier to fit therapy into your schedule without the need for travel, childcare arrangements, or time off work. It also increases access to care for individuals, couples, and families who may not have local providers available.

    Services are provided to clients located in states where the therapist is licensed at the time of the session.

    Coaching services may be available nationwide, as they are not considered psychotherapy services.

  • No special equipment is required to participate in online therapy with Walp Therapy Services. You can join sessions using a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera, microphone, and reliable internet connection.

    Sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. In most cases, you can join by simply clicking a secure link—some platforms may require a quick download or app, depending on your device.

    For the best experience, we recommend:

    • A stable internet connection

    • A quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted

    • Headphones (optional, but helpful for privacy)

    You’re welcome to join from different locations if needed (for example, couples in separate spaces). However, for safety and confidentiality, sessions should not be attended while driving or in public places where others can overhear.

  • Walp Therapy Services accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards. *(For insurance info see below)

    Private Pay- Payments are processed securely through the SimplePractice client portal, which is used for scheduling, documentation, and billing. You can add and manage your preferred payment method directly within your secure client account.

    For clients using insurance, we work with Headway to manage insurance verification, claims submission, and payment processing. If you are using insurance, Headway will handle billing directly with your insurance provider, including any applicable copays or deductibles.

  • Finding the right therapeutic fit is an important part of the process. To support this, Walp Therapy Services offers a free 15-minute consultation so you can determine whether working together feels like a good match.

    If at any point during services you feel your therapist is not the right fit, we encourage you to communicate this. We will support you in transitioning to another provider or referring you to a clinician who may better meet your needs.

    Your comfort, safety, and progress in therapy are our priority.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • Walp Therapy Services requires at least 48 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

    Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments (“no-shows”), will be charged the full session fee. This policy is in place because the scheduled time is reserved specifically for you and cannot typically be filled on short notice.

    We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can occur. If you experience an unavoidable circumstance, please reach out as soon as possible to discuss your situation.
